The Sculpture Illuminare team has been commissioned to create Art and events in a public park in the Town of Riverhead NY. The assorted light art and sculpture exhibits have complimented the park for several years expanding with new art pieces each year. The lighted sculptures events are a free public art display with live music to set a magical tone and vibe for the evening events. A true economic generator, Reflextions Riverhead, Art in the Park  brings thousands of people to the town on event nights stimulating the local restaurants,  hotels and tourism economy.

Reflextions Riverhead, Art in The Park, is a walkable, interactive experience for visitors located in Milton L Burns Park  on Peconic Ave in Downtown Riverhead. A scenic setting – Reflextions utilizes and showcases the riverfront park to create a free, accessible public art space.

Reflextions consists of a daytime component as a standalone reflective art display. But at the night the magic comes to life when the art pieces are illuminated during our special events.  Featuring assorted elements of“LIGHT”, based on artist interpretations and designs. Elements of light include LED, Incandescent, Fire, Black light, Day Glow and photo luminescent displays. Each Illumination event will showcase additional lighted exhibits and live performing arts.

It serves both as artistic addition, as well as a tourist attraction, to the Downtown Area and contributes to the downtown revitalization, vibrancy and walkability.  Past events have provided the opportunity for not only local artists but local musicians, high school music and performing arts groups.
